Infinix is back with another Hot-series entry-grade phone, the Hot 9 Pro. The handset sports a 48MP quad-rear shooter, has a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, and is backed by a 5000mAh battery. Infinix has raised the bars for the entry-level segments and it would be interesting to see how it performs against existing “brand” competition.
Camera and Performance
Infinix Hot 9 Pro sports a quad-rear camera setup which includes a 48MP primary sensor, two 2MP’s of a macro and a depth sensor also there’s a low-light sensor with autofocus. Buyers can benefit from the depth sensor for portrait shots and the macro lens can be used for snapping micro shots. To better the camera app it features Custom bokeh, AI HDR mode, Panorama, AI beauty. Videos max out at FHD 1080p@30fps. For selfies and video calls, the punch-hole notch on the screen houses an 8MP camera that can also record 1080p videos.
The smartphone features a triple-camera setup which comprises of a 48MP f/1.8 primary camera backed by a 2MP lens and another 2MP Depth Camera. The screen has a fair size but with the given PPI, you can’t expect visuals to be that sharp and clear. Also, like most of the entry-level phones, it doesn’t have a thick chin below. For biometrics, it features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face lock. Infinix Hot 9 Pro features read mode and eye-care mode which pushes the specs for entry-grades.
Hot 9 Pro is solidly built and has a plastic back finish with a plastic frame on the sides. The phone stands at approx 165mm of height and has 8.7mm thickness, also it tips the bar at 185grams. It adds the volume rockers and power button to its right side. Also, a headphone jack lies at the bottom of the phone.

Infinix Hot 9 Pro employs an ample 5000mAh non-removable battery. The ample size of the battery can appeal to the heavy-users. Judging it by the size, the battery might deliver a day of power back up on over normal usage.
Hot 9 Pro has 64GB of internal storage capacity that can be used for stuffing apps and games. Also, it has an external micro-sd card support to expand the storage up to 256GB.

Infinix Hot 9 Pro is an entry-level phone that offers basic configuration. It has a fair amount of RAM and 5000mAh battery is a major advantage and could appeal to the heavy users.
